Peggy McGivern's annual exhibition, entitled 'Beloved Taos' will focus on the daily activities of the people of Taos and the diverse scenery of the area from mountains to valley views. Her new oils will flow from flamenco dancers to ranchers to the wonders of the Pow Wow as she captures the rhythm and colorful history of the cultures of Taos. “Rainforest Baskets” opens with a reception June 7, 5-8 pm. The baskets, by Wounaan Indians of Panama’s Darien Rainforest, are considered by experts to rival the finest in the world.
