24 Jul Ones to Watch: Bonnie Teitelbaum
Imbued with an emotional palette saturated and infused with personal reflection, Bonnie Teitelbaum’s mixed media and acrylic paintings carry the viewer through layers of experiences steeped in vibrancy and fantasia. Her delicate treatment of color combined with a nuanced expressionism transform nature into an intimate adventure.
Teitelbaum’s use of cracked background and dripping colors adds to the immediacy of her work, using the everyday to remind us of the fleeting moments we so readily abandon. Teitelbaum initiates a dialogue with the viewer, a daily internal conversation, through mingling sublime and shimmering color and texture.
