Kickin’ the Frost Fireplace Screen by Anne Beard
Artist Anne Beard was raised on a ranch in Washington and has lived in Oregon’s High Desert for the past 20 years. Both experiences deeply influence her work. With a background in fashion, she blends functional craft with contemporary style in her upholstered furnishings, which range from tailored ottomans to nature-inspired armchairs. This fireplace screen is appliquéd and embroidered by hand from wool gabardine to reflect Beard’s love of rodeo culture. The opposite side of the screen incorporates a stamped-leather design, and vintage hardware adds charm in unexpected places. While they’re designed to cover a fireplace when not in use, many clients have creatively used her screens for other purposes. We love how Beard elevated functional décor with Western flair.

Hummingbirds in Flight Bison Cape by Jennie Montana
Since 2006, Jennie Montana has crafted one-of-a-kind garments, personally gathering the raw materials, picking up bison hides from local ranches, and overseeing every step, from shearing to tanning. Her custom pieces are adorned with original appliqué inspired by Montana wildlife and wildflowers. After learning about the hummingbird migration from Central America to Montana, the designer created this cape to honor the resilience and beauty of these tiny creatures. It’s lined with colorful cotton sateen and includes a leather pocket and bison fur trim on the cuffs and hood. Her work was awarded Best Collection at the 2024 Western Design Conference in Jackson, Wyoming.

Canna Lily Candle Sconce by Red Tail Forge Works
Led by Anthony Martin, Red Tail Forge Works specializes in handmade, period-authentic items for the home and hearth, focusing on 18th- and 19th-century techniques. From his Tennessee-based shop, Martin initially started making kitchen utensils, before he was asked to produce pieces for custom homes, war reenactors, and national historic sites. In 2013, Red Tail Forge Works became the official blacksmith for the PBS series “A Taste of History” with Chef Walter Staib, renowned for his expertise in 18th-century cuisine. These textured candle sconces feature scrolls and leaves, illustrating the artisan’s blend of artful form and function. We love how Martin helps preserve the art of blacksmithing, using traditional methods and tools to create pieces that reflect a dedication to quality and authenticity.

Placemat and Napkin Sets by EVELYN & KATE
With bold patterns of orange and magenta, complemented by soft turquoise stripes, this placemat and napkin collection brings a refreshing energy to table settings. The sets are inspired by oil paintings created by childhood friends and artists Evelyn Lafave McCarthy and Kate Geraci, who shared a dream of owning a gallery and creating art together. Their collaboration resulted in the Cleveland, Ohio-based Amoré Gallery and led them to reimagine their paintings as vibrant, complementary patterns for textiles, fashion, and home décor. These placemats are made with durable double-layered canvas, and the napkins are a softer cotton-linen blend. We love the refreshing colors and how this duo extended their artistic vision beyond the gallery.

La Flor in Bordeaux Silk Scarf by Ray
With its slender ribbon design, this double-sided twilly-style silk scarf was inspired by the colorful folk art and exotic flowers Kris Roufa discovered on a childhood trip to Mexico. She describes La Flor Scarf as a more contemporary, grown-up version of these deep-rooted childhood memories, flowers and all. It’s available in two colors, bordeaux/blush or frost/white, at her company Ray, which specializes in luxury scarfs, neckerchiefs, and bandanas and is named for the rays of sunshine that spark joy and warmth in life.
